Crispy Seed Crackers

Delicious seed crackers, seasoned delightfully. Complete with chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds, these crackers pair perfectly with soups, salads, and sandwiches. Plus, they’re gluten free!

Ingredients

Part A

½ C. sunflower seeds
½ C. pumpkin seeds
½ C. Sesame seeds
1/3 C. chia seeds
1/3 C. flax seeds (ground or whole)
½ C. rice flour
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1.5 C. hot water

Part B

2 Tbsp. everything seasoning (bought or homemade)

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325F.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients from Part A in bowl, add the hot water and mix well, until it pulls together.
  3. Take a small amount of mixture and spread thin on a piece of parchment line baking sheet, about 1/4 “thick (thinner for crispier)
  4. Spread a generous amount of everything seasoning on mixture
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, rotating pan halfway
  • Cool completely, then break random sizes
  • Store in a sealed container at room temperature.

Chef's Tips

Place mixture between 2 pieces of parchment, spray each side with vegetable oil, use a rolling pin to roll ¼ inch thickness. Score the sheeted cracker before baking into desired sizes, then break along the lines after baking.
