It is with deep sadness that we share the passing It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our longtime colleague and Executive Chef, Mitch Shafer.

For 13 years, Mitch made a lasting impact through his exceptional culinary talent, strong leadership, and dedication to excellence. He led a tremendous culinary team with passion and care, always striving for ongoing improvement—not only in his craft, but in every aspect of his career and life. Mitch will also be remembered for his sense of humour, kind presence, and the way he lifted others with his jokes and positive spirit.

Above all, Mitch was deeply devoted to his family and friends, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

Our sincere condolences go to Mitch’s wife, Deb, his daughters Mikayla and Maddie, and to all who loved and cared for him.
